Apple BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or 6 thighs
  • 1/2 C unsweetened applesauce (if using sweetened, use half of the sugar)
  • 1/2 C barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 1 T chili powder

Directions

  1. In a fry pan over medium heat, brown both sides of chicken.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together remaining ingredients.  Pour evenly over chicken.
  3. Allow chicken to simmer in the sauce for Approximately 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
